Aside: What I Did On My Summer Vacation by Arah

While Eric was covering the miles in East France (and keeping the blog going for our avid reader), I took a whirlwind trip back to the U.S. to attend my... 25th college reunion (no! Arah! It's not possible. You look so young!), check on our house and rotate tenants.

This was the first reunion I ever been to and it was a whole lot of fun! Seeing people that you haven't seen in 25 years but spent a very formative time in your life with is quite an experience.

I also got to see friends and family in New York and Boston on either end of the trip.

I snapped this picture on the commuter rail back to Boston and then struck up a conversation with the bicycle's owner, who happened to be from Lyon!

Everything in the house looks fine and we're really excited, yes really excited, for a new tenants, 3 undergraduate boys!
