Day 64: Lyon rest day

We start the day with a little light sightseeing before parting ways to do errands. We happen upon this church (meh on the inside)

Next on the agenda, finding that thing on the hill

Since it’s a rest day, really, we take the funicular up the hill

The Basilica of Notre Dame De Fouviere

Inside, the cathedral is more ornate than most we’ve seen in France. This has quite a lot of flourish.

And the walls are lined with beautiful (if hard to photograph) art deco looking mosaics
