Day 43 - June 7: Gorge du Verdon (26mi/42km)

Today’s a “fun” ride. No bags, just up into the gorge and back.

Next activity - we rent a canoe and head up the river to see the gorge from the bottom

People were “canyoning” - jumping off these in wetsuits

Got a little too close and took a freezing cold shower

Back to the dock as the afternoon clouds roll in, another swim and another al fresco dinner at the hamburger restaurant.
