Day 4 - April 29: Orvieto rest day

First stop - the most unbelievably OTT Duomo we have ever seen. After about 10 minutes we pick our jaws up off the ground and check it out. No interior pix allowed, sorry.

Starting in Orvieto… right after we leave (booo)

The “ Underground Orvieto” tour. The city is built on swiss cheese like tufa rock. There are 1400 Etruscan caves under the city that the current and past residents used for milling grain, pressing olives and of course storing wine.
