We were supposed to have terrible weather today, but when we woke up the skies were fairly light, so we decided to jump on our bikes and head over to the famous caves of Pech Merle.
These caves are amazing for their geologic sights, but they're famous for prehistoric cave art. There is no photography allowed in the caves, so instead I will direct you to this link to see what we saw.

Stopped at a sandwich shop with huuuuuge loaf of bread in it. Wouldn't fit in the pannier...
The rain started in the afternoon, so we spent an inside day napping, watching the Giro, and catching up on tasks.
Eric's homemade snuggie.
Dinner at L'Oustal (no website) was quite a surprise! We were expecting another uninspired set French menu but were quite surprised to be served beautiful and creative takes on traditional dishes. This moved into the lead for "Best meal in France: 2018 trip."

Tonight's a special night for Arah, because it's the finals of Eurovision! Many of you know that I'm extremely disappointed not to be in Lisbon watching it live this year, but at least we got an apartment with the TV so I can watch it.
My money's on Israel or the UK this year...
