We’ve spent a lot of time in French farm country over the past two weeks. Here is some of what we’ve seen — and some questions…
First some interesting machinery we’ve seen in wine country. Star Wars droid / high-riding tractor for the vines.

This, perhaps, is too old school. We peg this couple as Parisian millionaires playing famer.
Amongst the more familiar crops are some mysteries. The identity of this one is given away by one lonely early bloomer…
And this one - looks like tall parsley. Mustard perhaps?
Then there’s this - stands about 3.5 feet high, looks like thin broccoli at the bottom, then branches into many thin stems. Can anyone ID this crop?
