Sorry, nothing but food pix today…
Rough day for us. On the bright side, nothing makes you want to end your European cycling holiday like 6 hours of hot, hilly, unpaved, ugly, truck-filled roads with swarms of biting flies!
Only sight of the day worth photographing – this lady with her dog-walking bike attachment.
None spotted. Or squished. A few km later we find our hotel, glad to be done with the day. The lake is another 2km from town, so we decide to see the town (no pix or sights) instead.

There isn’t much going on in town besides the “Grossen Country Western Trucker Fest” (which only one of us is interested in attending), and our hotel restaurant has a bunch of awards on the wall so we decide it’s time for our Fancy Meal of Germany.

Baked strawberries with mascarpone and strawberry sorbet for me. Creative, but an odd thing to do to these gorgeous berries.
And a creme brulee for E. Tanks are full for our last big ride of the trip.
